About Jean
Jean-Claude is the Operations and Finance Director at CSB Group, where he oversees the Group’s financial management, operational performance, and the coordination of corporate service delivery across all divisions.
Since joining CSB Group in 2008 as Group Chief Financial Officer, he has played a central role in strengthening the Group’s financial governance, internal controls, and reporting structures. In 2018, he was appointed Operations and Finance Director, taking on wider responsibility for Group-wide operations, treasury management, and the coordination of accounting functions across a dedicated finance team.
His role is fundamental to ensuring efficiency, compliance, and financial discipline across CSB Group’s multidisciplinary service offering, which includes corporate advisory, fiduciary structures, and international structuring solutions. Within this framework, Jean-Claude also supports the Group’s integrated client services related to the maritime sector, including yacht ownership structuring and yacht registration services in Malta.
Jean-Claude graduated from the University of Malta with a degree in Accountancy and Management, followed by an Honours degree in Business Management. He began his career in audit and accountancy, specialising in consultancy and financial services, and progressed to partnership within a leading firm in 2000. In 2011, he qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA, UK), further strengthening his technical and strategic expertise in financial management.
With over two decades of experience in finance, operations, and corporate governance, Jean-Claude also serves as a non-executive director on several boards, bringing a structured and disciplined approach to organisational oversight and long-term planning.
